Sterling silver New York Yacht Club trophy john c. moore and sons for tiffany & co. 1863.
In the form of a circular covered butter dish. Ball handle to lid with figure of a recumbent sailor and an anchor beside, incurvate panel sides. Lid is inscribed "14th Annual Regatta, Handicap Sweepstakes, SLOOP FANNIE, New York Yacht Club, June, 11th 1863 "and monogrammed: E. H. W. for E. H. White (the owner of the winning Sloop) .
