Unsigned, watercolor and ink on paper . Inscription in verso, " This Coat of Arms was painted by my cousin, Miss Louisa R. Green, daughter & only surviving descendant of Rev. Samuel Green. It was presented to me in the frame by her April 23, 1880. The work is a copy of one in the possession of Mrs. Amos Hagar, of Lincoln, Mass. Mrs Hagar is the youngest child of my father's Uncle William Green. The original at Mrs. Hagar's is on paper, evidently very old........signed by Thomas Green"
