Markings include SG to upper tang, SAGINAW SG/3452815 to rear of receiver, and US CARBINE/CAL. 30 M1 to front of receiver. Barrel is marked SAGINAW S.G. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS to barrel. Stock is marked with P proof to bottom of grip, and appears to be marked 58 to heel and toe of buttstock, as well as to bottom of grip.
