Single action loading gate revolver with six-shot cylinder. The left frame features Colt's three-patents in three-lines marking while the triggerguard is struck 45 CAL. The top of the barrel is marked COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. The serial numbers match on the frame and gripstraps with the loading gate showing assembly number 2906. The hammer recess is struck H, and the cylinder shows a P initial.
