Single shot flintlock pistol with flared muzzle that shows signs of rebuilding to mount the current lock. A weak firing proof mark remains visible on the lock, and five notches have been cut into each side of the triggerguard and to the internal parts of the lock. The touch hole is deformed, and the metal work shows signs of aggressive cleaning and polishing overall. Touch hole aligns poorly with the pan. Lockplate screws are numbered 67, and the forward screw protrudes from the plate and fails to fully tighten.
