*Custom John Oberlies Winchester Model 1885 High Wall Rifle in .30-40 Krag
.30-40 Krag. 30" round barrel. SN: 139687 (mfg. ca. 1920). Blued finish, jeweled lever and breech block, stippled brass Oberlies marked buttplate, checkered straight-gripped walnut stock and checkered Schnabel forend. Single shot falling block rifle customized by John Oberlies with scope mounting blocks added, the rear barrel dovetail filled and a large dovetailed blade front sight. The rifle exhibits Oberlies typical high quality work and some of his typical inlays like an oak leaf in the bottom of the forend. {MODERN}
