Standard Colt 1911 military markings, right side of frame with two sets of RIA, FK and {Flaming Bomb} rebuild marks, indicating a Rock Island Arsenal rebuild circa World War II. The original World War I era {Eagle Head/6} inspection is present on the left of the frame, behind the trigger. The chamber of the barrel is lightly jeweled and the action is crisp, suggesting some later civilian world gunsmithing. No magazine is present. {C&R}
