[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Sixth plate daguerreotype of a violin virtuoso.
Remarkably crisp seated portrait of a violinist seated on an upholstered studio settee, holding his violin in one hand and his bow in the other. (Minor tarnishing to edges and some spotting/discoloration to subject's legs; reglazed, resealed 2011.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case.
