Contemporary dark plum morocco stamped in gilt and in blind, all edges gilt, concealing a FORE-EDGE PAINTING of The Great Exposition held in Hyde Park, London in 1851; morocco-backed folding case. Provenance: Contemporary fore-edge gift inscription dated 1854.
