*Smith & Wesson Model 544 Texas Commemorative in Shipping Box with Presentation Case
.44-40. 5" barrel length. SN: TWT3892. Blued metal finish overall with casehardened hammer and trigger mounting smooth Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double-action hand ejector commemorating the 150th anniversary of the state of Texas. Item features adjustable white outline rear target and red plastic insert Baughman Quick Draw front sights. Item shows standard make and model markings with the Smith & Wesson monogram trademark struck into the left frame. Further embellishments include 1836 TEXAS 1986 to the right barrel, and an emblem for the 150th anniversary on the sideplate featuring the outline of Texas enclosing a Conestoga wagon set between the dates covered by barrel marking. Revolver comes packaged in its original blue cardboard box with the owner's manual and ad inserts, an unused cleaning kit, and a wood display case embellished with a river map of Texas flanked by a Conestoga wagon, the seal of the TEXAS INDEPENDANCE ASSOCIATION, Smith & Wesson monogram, and 1836 TEXAS 1986. Case is lined in blue velvet and comes with a key in its package.
