Left side of barrel roll marked SMITH & WESSON over 44/40. Right side roll marked 1836 TEXAS 1986 with gold washed filler. Left rear of frame with Texas logo and sesquicentennial dates. S&W logo on left rear of frame. The revolver is contained in a S&W wood presentation box laser engraved on the lid with the state of Texas, S&W Logos, etc. and has a fitted interior with a crushed blue velvet lining. A key for the case is also included.
