.44-40. 12" barrel. SN: SA66444. Full nickel finish, two-piece faux ivory Rampant Colt medallion grips. Single action solid frame revolver with loading gate and six-chambered fluted cylinder. Period style one-line Hartford barrel address and three-date in three-line patent markings on lower left of frame. Traditional frame notch rear sight and fixed blade front sight and kidney shaped ejector rod head. Production of these Buntlines was fairly low, estimated at less than 200 circa 1984-1985. Revolver is in what appears to be the factory cardboard box with no label, foam interior and the factory paperwork.
