** Albion Motors Enfield No. 2 Mk 1* Revolver
World War II
.38 S&W. 5" barrel length. SN: A3135. Black painted arsenal refinish with two-piece diagonally serrated black synthetic grips mounting pinned front blade and latch rear notch sights. DAO top-break six-shot revolver featuring automatic ejector and a lanyard loop to the butt. Right frame shows a faint Albion logo overstamped with FTR/53 below a {Broad Arrow} mark, indicating it was sent back to the factory for repair in 1953. The frame, each chamber, and the barrel show {Crown/BNP} Birmingham proof markings with further marks including faint No. 2 MK I * mark below the Albion motors marking, {Broad Arrow} marks to both grip panels at the butt, and the number 35 hand painted on the butt.
