In two parts; the stepped upper section with a cupboard door above a frieze drawer, opening to a single drawer and flanking cupboard doors surmounted by a marquetry inlaid pediment; the lower section with a rolltop opening to two banks of three long drawers and two short drawers centered by a cupboard door within an architectural surround, the pediment and steps fitted as drawers, the steps flanked by a covered sandpot and inkpot, above a slide out writing surface fitted with three slides above two deep drawers raised on short block feet; the upper section with a paper label on the reverse inscribed 'Andreas Hygum, Taulou'.
