Three English needlework samplers wrought by martha wood, early 19th century
The first two with stylized floral borders enclosing pious verses and flowering urns; together with a companion family register depicting the birth dates of Nancy, James and Martha Wood centering a strawberry border, all worked in silk threads on a linen ground.
