A Chinese Yellow-Ground Famille Rose Porcelain 'Dragon and Phoenix' Bowl
Guangxu Period (1875-1908)

having rounded walls resting on a short, straight foot, the exterior painted with roundels enclosing a dragon confronting a phoenix, amongst foliate scrolls, set above a bright yellow ground, all between a row of lappet leaves and a keyfret band, the underside bearing an iron red Guangxu six-character mark.  
Diameter 9 1/8 in., 23.2 cm.
