A Small Chinese Blue and White Porcelain 'Dragon' Bowl
Daoguang Period (1820-1850)

清道光 青花雙龍捧壽紋碗
delicately potted with flaring walls rising from a compact straight foot, the exterior decorated with sinuous dragons stretching amidst spearlike flame wisps and alternating with stylized 'fu' and 'shou' character lozenges. The interior is further decorated with a fierce dragon in profile, the underside incised with the six-character Daoguang mark of the period.
Diameter 5 1/4 in., 13.34 cm.
