A Chinese Peach Ground Silk Lady's Robe
19th Century
清晚期 桃紅綢團龍暗花氅衣
of large section with straight sleeves, a rounded neck opening, side closure, and high side vents, primarily fashioned of a warm peach silk woven with evenly spaced floral roundels, all finished with trim of detailed floral embroidery on a cream ground bordered by narrow plain blue and butterfly ribbons tracing ruyi shapes at the side openings.
