A Chinese Longquan Celadon Glazed Porcelain Dish
Ming Dynasty, 15th Century
明 龍全窯青釉刻花碟
the shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim, the exterior freely carved with a lotus scroll, the interior impressed in the center with an eight-petal blossom medallion, applied overall with an olive-green glaze save for a ring on the base exposing the red-fired clay.
