A Set of Four Chinese Marble Inset Zitan Armchairs
Late Qing Dynasty
清晚期 紫檀嵌理石太师椅一堂
each chair having a curved top rail above a circular back splat inset with a marble panel enclosed by three groups of peaches borne on short leafy branches, the curved armrests and front rails supported by similar peach motif, the seat panel set within a wide frame above humpback aprons, all supported on straight legs joined by stretchers.
