comprising a copper electrotype example depicting Mount Vernon, identified J. Crutchett, Mt. Vernon Factory, lower register; and an encapsulated engraved memorial banknote of George Washington with the Allegory of Liberty designed by H. Billings for the American Bank Note Company.
each affixed to circular wood mounts, fashioned from trees grown at Mount Vernon, with contemporaneous paper labels warranting authenticity and impressed manufacturer's stamp Mount Vernon / J. Crutchett, verso.
