26.5" Nagasa (blade length). 38.5" overall with Tsuka (hilt) and Saya (scabbard). Aoi Gata style iron tsuba with Kozuka and Kogai hitsu-ana. Blade features a Shinogi-Zuguri shape. Fuchi composed of Shakudo with a blackened patinated finish and a checkered pattern overall. Kashira (Pommel Cap) shares the same material with a smooth finish. Hilt is wrapped in rayskin with one menuki on the left side and black cord wrap. Nakago (Tang) is unsigned. Sword comes in a wood core Saya (Scabbard) wrapped in stitched brown leather with a pair of REINDEER/FINISH snaps on the throat. Scabbard wrap is cut down roughly over the Kurigata suggesting it was hand fit to this Saya after its construction.
