Short recoil operated toggle-locked autoloading striker fired pistol fed by detachable single-stack magazines. Sideplate is replaced and is numbered 17. All other components display matching serial number markings, including the firing pin and both grip panels. Balance of parts display Imperial German Gothic letter inspection stamps with the Imperial German {Reichsadler} marking struck into the barrel, left breechblock, and right barrel extension. Toggle link displays the manufacturer marking {Crown}/ERFURT with the top of the barrel extension dated 1913. Barrel gauge marking of 8,83 is struck into the underside of the barrel below the serial number marking. Comes with no magazine.
