Single action short-recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item has been extensively customized as follows: full length Wilson Combat pattern guide rod, a WILSON'S marked bushing, extended beavertail grip safety, skeletonized Commander hammer, raised magazine release, ambidexterous safety lever, triggerguard cut down to permit a higher grip, knurled front gripstrap and mainspring housing, flared magazine well extension mainspring housing, BO-MAR adjustable rear notch and front blade sights. Front gripstrap has been reinforced with additional material welded into place and then knurled down. The left grip panel is cut down to permit easy access to the magazine release. Forward triggerguard is knurled, and the slide features front and rear grip serrations. The DELTA ELITE/COLT AUTO mark on the left slide has been obscured by the refinish, but the GOVERNMENT MODEL mark on the right slide remains crisp, as do all markings on the frame. Comes with one stainless steel finish magazine with McCormick pattern {Shooting Star} marked follower and J&J marked black synthetic extended base pad.
