Barrel rib roll marked in a single line SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. with the cylinder roll marked PATENTED APR. 3, 1855 & JULY 5, 1859. Matching assembly mark A V found on the rear face of the barrel web, on the face of the cylinder and on the left side of the grip frame under the grip. Right grip is correctly numbered 19598, matching the gun. Action does not function.
