Single shot percussion converted smoothbore pistol with flared canon muzzle and no sights. Lockplate shows light wheat scroll to the border enclosing spiral scroll engraving. Butt is cut for a pommel cap but none is currently mounted. Tang shows the remnants of a rear notch sight likely ground down turing refinish and conversion. Breech of the barrel struck with an illegible maker mark.
