Large and impressive pair of Chinese enameled hu form vases three rows of script to the base, qing dynasty
Of typical hu form surmounted with trunk-form handles and raised on a tapered circular foot, well and detailed large cartouches worked in reverse to show carp and a red five claw dragon over a scrolling sea, to a body of butterflies and peony on a yellow ground, diaper band to neck and pink lotus scrolling enameled foot, on wood stands.
