Exceptional Chinese cinnabar lacquer ruyi scepter qianlong period

Of typical shaped sinuous form, the largest lingzhi head is carved in high relief to show detailed floral sprigs issuing from rock-work, archaic form Fu bats carved to sides in reverse, the stem handle carved in very fine detail to show a ground of cross hatched squares and archaic style scrolls among floral sprigs, oval medallion to handle and base, terminating in a silk tassel, together with a japanese tomobako.
