with the name W.M. Anglemoyer in gilt lettering, depicting a woman riding an ice velocipede across a winter landscape.
underside marked T & V Limoges France, with Alpha written in gilt.
Height 3 5/8 inches.

According to The Allentown Leader, a William M. Anglemoyer (1875-1946) married Grace Isabella Baker Palmer on November 9, 1916, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Anglemoyer, a prominent merchant, owned two grocery stores and a knitting mill locally. Grace (1874-1945), possibly represented here, was first married to Scotten and Dillon tobacco salesman Herman Palmer (1880-1915). During the first decade of the twentieth century, Grace worked as a typewriter at the American Hotel in Allentown and later became the purchasing agent for the Phoenixville Hospital.
