Louis Vuitton woven canvas fitted trunk early 20th century
Squarish lift-lid trunk with fitted tray, below which is fitted with stuffed felt "baubles" to hold hats, or some other unknown sundry, apparently custom made, lined in red-striped ticking; the exterior in woven jacquard "LV" textile, brass and wood trim and signed brass hardware. With serial number 152745, labeled "1 Rue Scribe Paris / Louis Vuitton / 149 New Bond Street London."
