Each of rectangular form, the first decorated with "Federal Street Theatre Built 1744. Rebuilt 1799 Present Site J.Mc D.S & Co., Store, Built 1873," the second showing "The New Building corner Franklin & Hawley Sts. Jones McDuffie & Stratton Co. Pottery Merchants, Boston U.S.A-Established 1810 in Fish St. near Exchange St. Over 40 Years in South Market St. Over 30 Years corner Federal & Franklin Sts."
