Black transfer-printed canary and copper lustre pitcher
Of baluster form with canary mid-section having oval reserves enclosing "Cornwallis resigning his sword at Yorktown, Oct, 19th 1781" (McCauley No. 104) on one side, "La Fayette," crowned in glory (McCauley No. 35) on the other, with group of fruit under the spout.
