The Kutani covered koro is of hexagonal form, the domed cover and shoulder of the base are enameled with purple flowers issuing green scrolling leaves over a yellow ground, the tripod base is painted to depict auspicious symbols alternating with seasonal landscapes, together with a possible Kutani gilt metal mounted rectangular covered jar.
