Japanese Kakiemon plate late 17th century
Slightly rounded form, cream porcelain with cracking underglaze, the central medallion showing ho-o bird and foliate sprigs, the band enameled to show rock work and songbirds, blue underglazed scrolls to underside, partialy rebuilt.
