Large and impressive Japanese cloisonne covered urn, in the style of Namikawa attributed to namikawa workshop, late 19th century
Of compressed octagonal form applied with two handles, eight faceted panels, body and cover depicting various mythological creatures on speckled ground incorporating arabesque shield designs to outer body and well-detailed geometric diapering and pattern banding by a profusion of detailed flower heads.
