Large and rare Chinese portrait of Emperor Kang-hsi mid qing dynasty
Of color wash on paper, the portrait depicts Kang-hsi surviving the effects of smallpox, ground blue robe with first rank military badge to the front and yellow dragons to the trim, seated in a black lacquer chair, in a later glazed frame.
