Three Vaudeville Carved and Painted Wood, Leather and Cotton Ventriloquist Dolls
Circa 1900
set in an iron mounted wood travel case.
Height of figure on stand 33 1/2 inches.
Created by the man who owned Strawberry Farm, Ann Arbor, Michigan, which later became the site of the University of Michigan football and baseball stadiums. Acquired from the daughter who said her father used these in Vaudeville. He referred to them as his "Jennys."
