identified to Martha Grubb / October 24th / 1838 with text pertaining to the Christian allegory for the four stages of life.
17 x 12 1/2 inches.
Genealogical records confirm that a Martha Grubb was born in Worcester, England on February 5, 1818. She married Henry Hopley on October 3, 1855, and died in Herefordshire in 1883.
