second inscribed in various hands Drawn with a pen by Henry Goldthwaite Jenks at the age of 18 in the year 1794 and presented by his brother Rev. Wm. Jenks, DD LLD, in 1863. Jany 1st to me the son of Wm Joseph William Jenks. / Presented by J.W. Jenks to Ann Maria Jenks / by whom it was presented in 1884 to Louis [illegible], 1915 / This picture represents the sailing out of Boston of the Constitution, and the Constellation and Hessar frigates, and another vessel. The Constitution is in the center, the Constitution on the right, and the Hessar on the left; the scene was witnessed by the draftsman himself and drawn on the spot, verso.
