note:
Au Bon Marche was designed and built by Louis Auguste Boileau (1812-1896) and his son, Louis Charles (1837-1914) and Gustave Eiffel. The department store was restored circa 1923 under the guidance of Louis Hippolyte Boileau with the help of Brandt and other designers such as Ruhlmann and Rene Lalique.
