Delicately embroidered needle point in pastels of the Empress Josephine of France seated in fancy dress. Facial features have been painted onto the silk backing. Smaller postcard sized, practice calligraphy done by a Chinese student at the Wilbraham Academy, dated February 5th, 1873. Both framed, artists unknown.
