Exceptional brass circumferentor with four sight veins late 18th century

Inscribed Willz Collier Fecit, of circular form, well worked brass decorated with leaf borders, foliate arches, the silver plated compass dial is finely inscribed with direction and decoration of foliate scrolls, enclosed by a dome glass cover and brass dust cover, the outer arch is pieced and supported by six arms, with original mahogany, ebony and sycamore parquetry box.
