Burr, Aaron (1756-1836), American statesman, Vice President under Jefferson, killed Alexander Hamilton in an 1804 duel, acquitted of treason in 1807.
Charles O'Conor (1804-1884), prominent American lawyer, senior counsel for Jefferson Davis on his indictment for treason, ran in the U.S. Presidential election of 1872. His name here is spelled "O'Connor."
