Meiji Period, Late 19th Century
the oviform body with stepped and flared neck, raised on similar foot, the exterior decorated in high relief showing a vulture chasing a pheasant amongst pine under scrolling clouds, between birds in flight and diaper bands.
Approximate height 61 7/8 inches (157.2 cm).
