Lot Description

Dresden porcelain jardiniere late 19th / early 20th century

Of tapered bucket form, the sides surmounted by four rams' mask motifs and painted with flowers against a white gilt enriched ground, blue printed mark. Footnote: After an original created in 1788 by Sevres, for Queen Marie Antoinette for her dairy at Rambouillet.
