Late Qing Dynasty
清晚期 酸枝嵌理石太师椅
the circular back splat inset with a marble panel enclosed by elaborately pierced and carved foliate scrolls, peaches and a large ruyi head, the wide armrests and curved front rails resting atop openworked panels, the seat panel set within a wide, shaped frame, above a narrow waist, all raised on curved legs joined by a single stretcher, ending in out-splayed feet.
