Original burgundy cloth (slight rubbing, some soiling to endleaves); unclipped dust jacket (small strip removed along foot of jacket with loss of "And Company" on spine panel, some light creasing and wear, a few short tears, cellotape remnants on flap folds). Provenance: library label wrapped around spine panel
FIRST EDITION, IN THE FIRST ISSUE DUST JACKET with the blurb from Sinclair Lewis on the rear panel. Warren received the 1947 Pulitzer Prize for All the King's Men and was later awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1958 and 1979. He remains the only author to have won Pulitzer Prizes for both fiction and poetry.
