8vo. Original silver-stamped blue cloth (spine panel sunned); publisher's pictorial dust jacket (some very light rubbing and soiling to extremities).
FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with plain endpapers. IN THE FIRST DUST JACKET priced $2.50 and without reviews. Nordhoff and Hall's novel, based on the true adventures of the H.M.S. Bounty, was the basis for several film adaptations, the most well-known being the 1935 and the 1962 versions.
