FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 38 of 75 morocco-backed copies of a total edition of 100, SIGNED BY McEWAN. Titled in reference to the United Kingdom’s Children Act 1989, a reform considered one of the most substantial to children’s law in the 20th century, The Children Act has been compared to Charles Dickens’ Bleak House for its themes and setting, and was adapted to a film of the same name in 2017, starring Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci.
