After Charles Sykes (British 1875 -1950) the spirit of ecstasy
Two examples, each mounted on a marble base, the larger example signed ROLLS-ROYCE. (2). Literature: The Fine Art Society, British Sculpture 1850-1914 London, 1968, number 161. This sculpture has been used since 1911 on a reduced scale as the mascot for Rolls-Royce motorcars.
